VT Earthworks, a regional economic generation center for agriculture and natural resource businesses, has partnered with Virginia Cooperative Extension to host the 2010 Growers' Academy at the Virginia Tech Roanoke Center January 19 - March 9, 2010. The eight week session is held on Tuesdays from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and covers a variety of topics designed to help new and transitioning vegetable and cut-flower businesses succeed. The Clinical Supervision in Virginia workshop will be delivered at the Virginia Tech Southwest Center (Abingdon) March 25-26, 2010 and the Virginia Tech Richmond Center May 6-7, 2010. The training provides 15 of the 20 contact hours required to supervise LPC residents, and highlights the legal, ethical, theorectical, and practical requirements associated with providing clinical supervision.
